Busy Family Day

We had a busy day today visiting two different families. Chris' family had a reunion at a local park and my cousin Peter had a graduation party. Aidan had a great time at both parties! We didn't get any good naps today though because we went to the Farmer's Market this morning with my friend Melanie and her daughter Marah. We got some rhubarb and asparagus, both locally grown and of course some bread from the bread ladies! :)

Peter has a band, and they played an open mic at his party. My Aunt Rachel sang along with them and Aidan had fun being in the midst of the music! The guitars looked like fun to play with, just like daddy's! Peter's band played tonight just after we left and I hear the music is quite different from what they played while we were there. Peter is the one all the way on the left, and my Aunt Rachel is the one holding Aidan! :)
Aidan also got to meet his "cousin" (my cousin Joel's son), Luke. Aidan LOVED Luke. He couldn't get enough of him. He's trying to eat his hand, he gave him hugs and kisses. He attacked him! Luckily, Luke is a good sport and sat patiently while Aidan poked, proded, and even pushed him off the bench!

These pictures are from the Conran family reunion. Aidan practiced walking with Grandpa and Aunt Sara.
Aidan got his first exposure to a swing! He wasn't thrilled, but tolerated the ride.

Of course he played with grandpa! Aidan explored the playset and the slide.
