Up in Traverse City they have an annual train festival. Aidan, being the train lover he is, had a blast being there. Unfortunately it's over now and the last day we went they were closing. He was heart broken and we felt like awful parents!
This is the Polar Express, Aidan's favorite train there. This one was just at his height and he could push the button to make it go "round and round and round". He also was quite protective of this train and would let other kids know the rules (you can't touch it). What a joy to watch him having such a fun time!
Look at all the different sizes of trains there are. They had working examples of them all. It could be a fun project some day....but I also see it getting quite expensive very quickly!
