Traverse City for the Fourth

We went to an airshow during Cherry Festival. It was long and hot! But, when the planes actually flew it was pretty cool, there was just A LOT of waiting in between "acts". The coast guard helicopter, "rescuing" a "victim" from the Lake.

The jets that flew the night of the fourth (in the dark before the fireworks) were loud. Aidan had figured out how to cover his ears...
The Blue Angels! (They're all flying upside down).

The third time we watched the airshow, we just stopped alongside the road to see the Blue Angels again. It was neat to see it from a different perspective. Aidan didn't like it nearly as much as we thought he would. He got a bigger kick out of trying to find jets that fly over when we were at home.
