We were walking through the children's garden and saw a racoon! We hesitated at first, but he must be very used to people because he didn't even flinch when we decided we were safe to walk by!
Aidan had fun playing in the water feature. Although it was a little chilly, he wanted to get in and his pants were getting wet, so we took them off and let him play. That way at least he had dry pants to put on for the trip home.
Aidan and Melanie were beautiful butterflies...although Aidan enjoyed eating his more than smiling for the camera! :)
The famous Clearwing butterfly!
This butterfly landed right on my arm while I was talking to one of the docents. He stayed there for about 30 seconds or so. It was a very wierd sensation and left me with a sticky arm!
Aidan had fun being in "jail"!
Maybe I can eat my way out!...
Free at last!...I better make a break for it!
